Our mission
Play with Purpose.
A personal project built to invite people into thoughtful, welcoming, family-first gaming.

Our Mission: Play with Purpose
Our tagline, Play with Purpose, reflects our commitment to creating experiences that spark joy, foster community, and encourage meaningful connection. For us, faith is the inspiration—not an obligation—behind what we do. We don’t have all the answers, but we believe in the value of loving others well and making space for everyone at the table.
Building Together
While Disrupt Games began as a personal project, it’s never been about a single voice. We’re thrilled to welcome anyone who shares our passion for positive, family-first gaming—designers, developers, artists, and players alike. Our hope is to build a creative and supportive community where a love for gaming and a love for people go hand in hand.
A foundation in faith
Inspired by words like these.
“I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.” — Ecclesiastes 9:11
“And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in its streets.” — Zechariah 8:5
These verses remind us that life is full of surprises, and that simple joy—like children playing together—is worth pursuing and celebrating.
Come Play With Us

Quick questions
Answers before you sit down.
What does “Play with Purpose” mean?
It means we want the time around the table to matter. Great games can create laughter, challenge, conversation, and memories; our purpose is to make more room for all of that.
What if I don’t share your Christian faith?
You are absolutely welcome here. Our games are games first: designed to be played and enjoyed by anyone, regardless of their religious beliefs. Faith shapes why we make them, not who gets invited to the table.
Are all of the games explicitly faith-themed?
No. Some titles explore faith directly, while many are simply wholesome games with a wide range of themes and mechanisms. Across the catalog, the constant is a commitment to welcoming content and meaningful play.
What do the game-status labels mean?
They show where a design is in its journey. Production-ready titles are polished, pitch-preparation titles are receiving focused attention for publisher conversations, and playtest or development titles are still benefiting from feedback, artwork, or final refinement.
Are the games available to purchase?
Availability varies by title. Each game page lists its current resources, such as rules, BoardGameGeek information, or an online play option. If you are interested in a particular game, contact us and we will point you in the right direction.
Why are there so many trick-taking games?
Because trick-taking games are endlessly flexible: a familiar deck or small set of components can create surprising decisions, tension, and replayability. They are a natural fit for the kind of approachable, table-ready games we love to make.
Do you work with artists, designers, playtesters, and publishers?
Yes. Disrupt Games is a small, growing project, and collaboration matters. If you would like to help test a game, contribute art or development experience, discuss publishing, or simply share thoughtful feedback, please reach out.
Why build Disrupt Games?
We wanted to create games we could be happy and proud to bring to the table: simple, fun, low-component designs that welcome a broad range of players without asking anyone to set aside their comfort or values.
